The Steele Color Guard is an essential component of the Steele Band Program. From executing choreographed routines with various pieces of equipment to elevating and interpreting the music of our marching band, Steele Color Guard is an integral part of the ensemble. In the fall, color guard performs alongside the Steele Marching Band adding to the overall effect by creating connections with the audience to enhance the meaning and feeling of the show.

After marching season, Steele Color Guard competes in their Winter Guard season where they learn an entirely new routine focused solely on color guard skills and techniques as they perform to prerecorded music. Color guard takes precision, practice, and a great deal of discipline.
